Community-Based Therapy

Community-Based ABA

At Applied Behavior Strategies, we extend our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services beyond the home to encompass community-based settings, recognizing the importance of real-world social interactions and experiences in a child’s development. This approach allows us to support children with autism aged 2 to 12 in navigating various social environments, from schools and playgrounds to local shops and community centers. By providing therapy in these everyday settings, we help children apply and generalize the skills they’ve learned in more controlled environments to the wider world. This method not only enhances their ability to interact with peers and participate in community activities but also increases their confidence and independence in diverse settings. Our commitment to community-based therapy underscores our holistic approach to ABA, aiming to equip children with the tools they need to thrive in all areas of their lives, fostering inclusion and active participation in their communities.
